Walk by Faith
Seventh-day Adventists believe that God is deeply involved in our daily lives, guiding us through faith. This faith shapes every aspect of who we are—our health, relationships, work, and how we treat others and the world around us. With open hearts, we seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance, continually growing in understanding and deepening our knowledge of God’s truth.
Fundamental Beliefs
The fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church are based on the Bible, focusing on God's love, the life and sacrifice of Jesus, the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and the promise of Christ’s return. These beliefs shape our faith, salvation, and how we live according to God’s plan.
The Trinity
Seventh-Day Adventists believe in one God expressed in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—fully united in divinity and purpose.
The Bible is God-Inspired
The Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God, given for our knowledge and study to guide us in living lives that bring glory to Him.
Sola Scriptura
The Bible is God’s Word and our only creed. Its teachings form the foundation of our faith, guiding how we live, worship, and serve.
Creation
Seventh-day Adventists believe in the literal biblical account of creation as described in Genesis. God created the heavens, the earth, and everything within them in six days, and on the seventh day, He rested.
The Sabbath
After six days of Creation, God rested on the seventh day and established the Sabbath of Creation as a memorial for all people. The fourth commandment calls us to observe the seventh-day Sabbath as a holy day of rest, worship, and ministry, following the example and teachings of Jesus.
Salvation in Christ
Jesus Christ, the Son, came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again, securing victory over sin and death. Through His sacrificial love, we are washed clean, and with Jesus as our High Priest and Intercessor, we are saved by faith in Christ, not by works.
The Second Coming
After His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven but sent the Holy Spirit to be our Comforter and Guide. We hold onto His promise to return, restore creation to God’s perfect plan, and welcome all who believe in Him into the glory of His new kingdom.
