The Calgary Garden Road Seventh-Day Adventist Church is a warm, multicultural family of believers committed to living out God’s love in real, practical ways. We come from many backgrounds, but we share one mission: to provide a place for people to encounter God, grow in their faith, and make a difference in the world. Our doors are open to everyone who wants to grow in faith and experience God’s transforming love.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
— JOHN 13:35
Our Pastors
We are grateful for the leadership of Pastor Wayne Williams and Pastor Jacques Moïse Alexandre, who guide and support our church family.

I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about somebody, who can make a difference in their lives. His name is Jesus.
As a person, I love nature, photography, food, family, and travel. As a Pastor, I’ve conducted dozens of Revivals and Evangelistic Series around the world and have seen hundreds come to Christ—but what would it mean if I do not make it to Heaven?
After more than 30 years of pastoral ministry with the Ontario Conference and serving as Vice President of the Alberta Conference, this assignment at Garden Road has been both exciting and fulfilling. I’m proud to be the lead Pastor of this church family and I invite you to come plan and grow with us.
Wayne Williams
Senior Pastor

I am nothing but a sinner saved by grace, and this grace—God’s saving grace—is what I want every person to experience.
My pastoral ministry is shaped by a deep enthusiasm for sharing the transformative power that comes from God through faith, grace, and prayer both in my communities and around the world. In my leisure time, you’ll often find me cooking, baking, or playing soccer or ping‑pong. I also enjoy travelling and reading.
I invite you to join us every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning for a fantastic worship experience. If prayer is needed or any need arises, please feel free to reach out.
Jacques Moïse Alexandre
Associate / Youth Pastor
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
— MATTHEW 28:19–20
Our Vision
To empower and equip every person to grow in their faith and to serve others with love and compassion.
Our Mission
To provide a place for people to encounter God, grow in their faith, and make a difference in the world.
Our Beliefs
As Seventh‑day Adventists, we practice sola scriptura. As such, we accept the Bible as our only creed and live our faith “by Scripture alone.” Our fundamental beliefs reflect our collective understanding of Scripture and how it shapes our faith, mission, and daily lives. We invite you to explore the official summary of all 28 Fundamental Beliefs, carefully organized and regularly refined by the global church as we continue growing in our understanding of God’s Word.
